What Students Say
Likes
- One of the best colleges for commerce students.
- A lot of societies in the college and all of them are quite active
Dislikes
- No fests are conducted in the college since past 2-3 years
- The class size is quite huge with poor student teacher ratio
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I want to pursue finance and accounting for my career. The student-teacher ratio is just average, Class sizes are large around 60-65. Teachers are quite knowledgeable and explain everything properly. Exams are conducted on time.
Placement Experience
The college has a very active placement cell. The students can get placements in various companies even Big 4's. The percentage of students getting placed is quite low and even the average package is quite low.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are quite affordable which is 30750 for the whole course. All the courses have similar fees structure. Scholarships are also available for those in need. But the students do not get any jobs or internships from the college side.
Campus Life
The college has quite a lot of societies that students can join. But the college does not organize any fests on the campus. The library is well maintained and has all the necessary books and different types of newspapers and journals are also available in the library.
Admission
I had my admission based on cut-offs, for that, we need to register with Delhi University's official website which is du.uod.ac.in. Then each college releases its cut-offs, We can check the cut-offs and apply accordingly. One thing I would like to improve is the smoothness of the entire process. This entire process is very time-consuming and cumbersome.
