Likes

Extra Curricular Activities are just good and I enjoy it a lot.
Fees structure is low or I can say that it's worth the money.
For, Commerce specially, Michael College is good for sure 😊.

Dislikes

Their is no study in college at all you have to study on your own.
The Members are college are rude and not very helpful.
The College doesn't give proper updates about any extra Activity.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well, I choose B. Com honors because I thought that it would be better than doing just B.com and there are more people on B.com so I thought B.com honors will be better and frankly speaking the exams are not very difficult but still you need preparation.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 9500 per year

Placement Experience

To keep it simple, Very few students are getting jobs from Campus Placement and you have to find a job after the degree. Sorry, to say but you have to do something else with the college degree because nowadays if you get just a college degree it will not give you a Good Job I guess this College is good but the problem is with all the colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about the fee structure it's very good and I guess it's worth it but it's not just the fees there are a few other expenses like books, traveling to college, etc. The College offen give opportunities in NCC and other jobs but Campus placement is a little tough.

Campus Life

Well, the College has some management which takes care of all the functions in the college and there are sports, Annual Functions, Pujas, and other circular activities like other colleges and my college friends are good.

Admission

When I was taking admission the admission was very smooth but right now there is a problem with admission although if you have good marks you will get admission without any issues. Now, if you are trying to take admission here make sure to apply as soon as you get your name on the merit list.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
