Likes

The overall experience in nsut is very nice. The fest of college is very nice.
I also like various societies and programmes.
the campus is also very beautiful especially the greenery.

Dislikes

I don't like the attendance criteria. I think it can be a bit more flexible.
Hostel infrastructure can be renovated and more hostels can be made for girls
Mess quality can be made better and students are paying for mess.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science Engineering is very popular and there are various opportunities. the faculty is nice. In one semester, we need to give mid-sem exams and end-sem exams. How difficult it is to pass the exam depends on the exam. But it is very important to maintain attendance. the faculty is really qualified and also help on every way.

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunities, especially for girls. Internship opportunities start coming by the end of the second year for girls. Students can apply for off-campus internships as well. Students get enough information about this.

Placement Experience

Internships for girls start coming in the second year. The placement stats of NSUT is quite good. Many companies visit campus for placements. The average package for cse is 17lpa. Some companies that visit campus are Walmart, Samsung, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are approx 2 lakh per year. There are scholarship schemes available. Students get good internships and placements. Many companies visit on-campus. The average placement for btech cse is 17 lpa. There are various opportunities for women.

Campus Life

The vibe of nsut is nice. Moksha is the annual fest of nsut that is conducted every year. Also, there are many societies depending upon the interests of students. There are tech societies, and extra-curricular societies like dance, music, etc.

Admission

To take admission to NSUT for engineering, you need to give jee mains. Jee mains are conducted by NTA. Application forms and dates can be found on nta website. It is conducted in online mode every year.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Descriptive Review of MAIT.

Placement Experience:

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

The placement status of the college is nice but specially the older status was amazing and the seniors told me that this year was the recession time so the placement was not so good but it will be good with time

The best way to know college

Placement Experience:

The eligible students get placements, from 4tg year first semester onwards placements will start, companies like Accenture, tcs, infotech, wipro will attend. I think atleast 7GPA is min required for college placements

Life of a college student

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum.My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated.For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem.There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Delhi Technological University: A place for overall development

Placement Experience:

College placements are amazing. Right now the recession is there otherwise the average package of Computer Software and IT branch is as high as 21LPA and overall average package of the college goes as high as 14LPA

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company.Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

igdtuw is a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

placement in igdtu is as good as dtu and nsut , many companies visit our campus every year like google, amazon, microsoft, adobe, vipro, uber, ola, atlassian etc. the highest package in 2023 was of 51 LPA by microsoft and average package is around 20 LPA

DTU PROS AND CONS

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki,etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.

Nsut college life

Nsut has a reputation, apart from the academic pressure which will train you to work hard the college provides huge oppotunities in placements which you wont get in other private college, in terms of placements it is not less than any tier 1 nits I didnt applied to a lot of colleges i got into nsut on the basis of my jee rank, if you are in general category and can score above 95 percentile you will score a seat in nsut...Read More

NSUT review 2024 intake

this wasa my top priority as its just 25 mins away from my home,and also cuz its one of the most reputed college in delhi for branches like CSE, IT and ECE. while comparing NSUT with DTU, both have similar reputation in delhi and strong alumni network. but DTU's campus is slightly bigger than NSUT, whereas NSUT is sometimes perceived as slightly more academically rigorous in certain branches....Read More

NSUT through the eye of a student

I gave jee main exam and sat on jac Delhi counselling. There were 3 college option for boys NSUT,DTU and IIIT Delhi . I chose nsut over other because cse in nsut is considered a good option and because of coding culture as well .
