As an autonomous university, Our college pays extra attention to hiring teachers are facilities. As a result, we have highly qualified teachers who are very eager to teach us and help us. Their teaching quality is good. Our college semester is moderate with a pass percentage of 35.

Class Size: 1500Course Fees: INR 158000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My total fee is 632000 rupees and I have to pay 79000 rupees per semester. In wet Bengal, there is a scholarship named SVMCM. They provide 60000 per year for those students who maintain 60% marks.

Campus Life

Our college infrastructure is newly modified aiming for future Industries and provides are students with awesome facilities like full AC classrooms in smart boards or projectors, High-speed Wifi connection throughout the college, and a huge library, filled with all types of possible books for any courses. Our collage has a hostel in Newtown. Hostel if is hygienic. A hostel environment is ideal for studies.

Admission

My admission process was smooth. I seat in JEE to get admission to the college. My total admission fee is 632000. Per semester I have to pay 79000. I didn't avail for a seat reservation but they provide this facility.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
