Campus life is great, and you learn a lot more than just academics. Also, there are great opportunities to take other courses outside your major.

Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure is good with one of the best faculties and lab facilities in India. Faculties are mostly motivated, although some are not up to the mark.
Internships Opportunities
Getting academic internships domestic and abroad is much easier than company internships. Rarely any company comes for official internship and even then they don't take more than 1 person usually.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are poor in core companies as there are very few openings compared to number of students. Core companies like Schlumberger offer around 15 lakhs.
College Events
Kshitij is the techno management fest and it's largest in Asia and sees huge participation from all over India. Often there are very unique tech shows from the world over. Spring Fest is the social fest and usually attracts tier 1 singers/performers.
Fees and Financial Aid
All Integrated M.Sc. students get Inspire scholarship from Govt of India, worth Rs. 60k per year. There are also merit cum means scholarships and several others available.
Campus Life
Campus life is great ,due to being away from city, students bond a lot more. There is great internet connectivity everywhere. There is rather generous tolerance towards all kinds diversity. Gender ratio is about 1:9. There are innumerable organizations and extracurricular activities and students take part in them with pride.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities is average, and often students are forced to share rooms due to lack of space. Mess food is usually below average.
Alumni/Alumna
There is an alumni network, but I won't say it's very strong.
