- first of all campus i liked the most which is situated besides the arabian sea and have private beach. campus is spread over approx 300 acres .campus is almost green .infrastructure is also good inhe college.
- there is two library in nitk one is central library where we can borrow the books and study also the timing of central library is 9 to 5 pm . other is E-library which is for study and fully centralised AC MOST IMPORTANTLY TIMING IS good 9 to 1 am .
- placement cell and nitk step i liked the most .teaching is basically practical.
Dislikes
- temperature of the college is very high almost you have to face summer whole year .
- mess food as a north indian i have faced lots of problem in settliong with south indian taste
- collge is situated very far away from the city
Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in circuital branches like ECE and I am getting this branch in a nick and also placement of this branch is also good. Faculty is to student ratio is 80:1. Most of the faculty is done Ph.D. from iit and nit. Exams are conducted every month like two quizzes, mid-sem, and end-sem.
Internships Opportunities
More than 200 hundred companies are visiting for internships in colleges. Companies LIKE JIO AIRTEL WALMART AMAZON GOOGLE ARE GIVING INTERNSHIPS. Many software companies are coming for sde roles and nontech companies for their respective roles. Most stipend of the companies ranges from 50k to 1lalkh. We have told at least projects like mini or major projects loke bank management systems and etc.
Placement Experience
placement of the college is very good almost all the eligible students get placed in good companies. Companies like amazon Flipkart, oracle, jio, airtel, google, Microsoft, and more than 400 companies visit for placement every year. Mostly in every branch, 95 percent of students get placed in good companies. My plan is to get a good job after getting my degrees.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of the college are approx 9 lakhs. SC/ST and pwd students get full remission of tuition fees. OBC and general category students get fees remission based on their income. Below one lpa student gets full remission of tuition fees between 1lpa to 5lpa two third of remission of tuition fees.
Campus Life
The annual fest of the college is incident and engi. Incident is the cultural fest of the college and engi is the technical fest of the college. Many books are available in the library also research papers. Sports facilities are also good one big ground and basketball court indoor sports complex is also there. Many social groups and clubs are in college like NSA, NCC, and clubs like IEEE, ACM IETetc.
Admission
Eligibility criteria for admission are the student must have passed 10+2 with physics chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects with overall 75 percent marks and also qualify for the jee mains exam. apllication is released by NTA.
