Likes
- I like that the college is autonomous now, so we don't want to travel to the other colleges for the university exam, and the exam is taken at the college. The college is fully supportive of you for your exam; they give you the question bank ,Solution
- The Second thing about the college is the marking and the internal system, which is the best for any weaker students to be able to pass the exam because there are 40 internal marks, which are easy to pass.
- I like about the College clubs and the forum that we take lots of things to learn. I'm also a member of the forum and the other committee, so I enjoyed these very much and had a great experience.
Dislikes
- The thing that I dislike is that attendance is very important in the college; if you take any leave, you want to tell your teachers and teacher governor, and any type of tardiness is not allowed.
- You cannot do anything without your teacher's permission. For every work, you need permission.
- The college gives the internal 40 marks and the 60 mark exam is written in the end of the semester; for that, we first want to do lots of work to earn the 49 marks by submitting lots of assignments and the activity-based learning with the proof(pic).
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm in the Electronics and Telecommunications Department, so One of the best facilities in my department is that there are lots of experienced faculty, and the way they teach us is the best. We know how hard the electronics subject is, but there are Faculty who are the best, and they have doctorates also in that field, so they teach very well and make the Subject easy for Us. Like Sir (Khanooni Sir), he is the best teacher for me, and he is the Teacher governor for me and the other 20 students in the department.
Internships Opportunities
The best thing that I like most about these is the internship opportunity given by the college. Currently, I'm an intern at the company, which is IT-NETWORKZ, and my domain is network communication and security. The process of selection for the candidate is very good. First, they take the Aptitude test, and after shortlisting the students, they take the basic interview. For the internship, I will not receive any stipend, but it is a very good company, and I am working on the Cisco Packet Tracer.
Placement Experience
In my college, there is the best placement opportunity for the students; from the 7th semester on, companies started to come, and they took the student's interviews. If you are the best fit for the company, they will choose you. The last highest package in my college is 19 lakhs, which was taken by a Computer Science department girl. The companies visited are TCS, Blueberry Semiconductor, Tessolve, Finhdal, Renoylds, Renoylds Infotech, and many more.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees for open are 1 lakh to 8 thousand, and these are very minimal for the Nagpur colleges as compared to other Scholarships that provide numerous opponent fees, and other rtunities for Institute of Technology students who are economically disadvantaged or who are the best and brightest. In the fees, they include the tuition fee, internet fee, training, and placements that are given by the college to the students.
Campus Life
The college A very famous annual festival is Known as Technoustav. Recently, in the month of April, after 3 years, it was done. That is Technoustav 2k23, which is a very special event for all college students. The Technoustav is done every year in the month of January. In college, there are several departments, and every department has its own forum, like in electronic, where we have the FEETA forum, which does all the department-level games, seminars, and all other things that the students require. The Computer Science department has consultants, Mechanical has AIMS, Electrical has ELAN, and in every forum, there are 20–22 students who are members of these committees, and they understand the professionalism that is required in the industry or in the workplace.
Admission
I got admission to the S.B. Jain Institute of Technology Management and my parents were n Research, Nagpur, through the Maharashtra CET and Cap rounds, which are taken by the state government. When I went for the admission process, it was already late for me because mot at home, and for that day they came late, so we went from home at about 4:30 p.m. and it took 5:10 to reach there.
