The placement opportunities in the campus are good
There is basketball volley ball and football cricket field available
The faculty members are well qualified from good institutes

The food quality in the mess is not very good
The fees here is on the higher side as it goes over 1lakh per semester

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of my interest in the field of computers the faculty-student ratio is fine here I do not know exactly The faculty members are well qualified most of them are graduates from IITs and also from foreign universities the term exams were in about 5 months

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 1005000 per year

Internships Opportunities

This week only Oracle company visited and gave internships to about 5 students of 3ed year and they offer a very good stipend too so there is quite a well opportunity for internships and the internship drive is going on campus right now

Placement Experience

In the 3rd year of college, we have opportunities for internships on campus and for the 4th year there are in-campus placements going on about 90 per cent of students here get placement and there are students who don't opt to sit in the placement for their higher studies I would like to get placed in a company

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure we receive from the college brochure it is mentioned the structure and the hike in the fees the 1st-semester fees is a bit on the higher side compared to the other semesters as we give some one-time payments average fee is about 1 lakh rupees

Campus Life

The campus is not very big but it has all the required things here. The library's availability of books is good. the academic building is of the required size not very big but has everything in it. Social life is good as it is not a very big campus it is easy to meet with seniors and get to know them, there are different clubs available here

Hostel Facilities

There are 3 buildings available for hostel purposes mainly it has about 10 blocks out of which 3 are for girls and the other 7 are for boys the mess food is average not very good but it is affordable.

Hostel Fee: INR 10000 per year

Admission

I had given the entrance exam JEE Mains I had filled out the form which was available for Odisha state which was available at their college site and the cutoff was about 90 percentile and rank of up to 1 lakh.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

A Decent Experience

I chose IIIT Bhubaneswar over the other college I applied to, which was KIIT, mainly because IIIT Bhubaneswar felt like a better fit for my long-term goals in terms of coding culture, academic seriousness, and overall brand value as a government-backed technical institute. Even though I got admission in KIIT, I preferred IIIT because the peer group here is more focused on programming, internships, and placements, and the environment pushes me to stay consistent and improve my skills. Also, when I compared both colleges, KIIT has a bigger and more happening campus life, but IIIT Bhubaneswar feels more career-driven and closer to the kind of tech exposure I wanted. I got admission into IIIT Bhubaneswar through the Odisha category, where the selection is done based on eligibility and merit as per the counselling process, and the overall admission experience was smooth for me. The basic eligibility was passing 12th with Physics and Mathematics, and the admission process mainly involved counselling, document verification, and fee payment, after which the final seat confirmation was done.
