Civil Engineering is a good branch. I choose Civil Engineering because it is a relatively easy branch and it consists of free time to work on yourself and enjoy. Civil Engineering does not offer that many placements if compared with other circuital branches but it is best for government jobs. The faculty ratio is 1:60 . Every branch is divided into 2 groups - G1 and G2 on the basis of Chandigarh and outside Chandigarh quota. Qualification of faculty is good. The teaching method is decent Term exams were at the exact time and were declared at the start of the semester. Term exams were not that difficult to pass. Majorly paper was related or was derived from the previous year's papers.

Campus Life is pec is nice. There is an annual fest which happens in November each year Called Pec Fest. In this fest, big singers come and perform. In 2022 Hardy Sandhu Had come to pec fest to perform. Books and journals are available in Library Which are required in the course. Amenities in the classroom are well-equipped with Ac, projectors and well-furnished desks. There also happens sports meet every year. Campus consists of all grounds for sports i.e football ground, cricket match, Tennis ground etc. There are various clubs in pec Chandigarh like Asce, Nss, Ncc, Apc, Pdc, etc

Eligibility for Students Undergraduate students of PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh. The entry point into the program is from any of the undergraduate years (1st year to final year). Entry to the program is by a selection process and continuation in the program is based on performance on the research & innovation project. The application form can be found on the PEC site. Admissions to B.Tech. programme for General/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ PwD categories in Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University) is based on JEE Main rank.
