Course Curriculum Overview
Student-to-faculty ratio is 1: 15 . The faculty members are highly qualified passing from iisc and foreign well-known universities. The semester is hectic and exams are a bit tough. There are a total of 5 branches namely computer engineering, computer science, information technology, electronics, and electrical in btech program.
Internships Opportunities
Companies hire you as an intern for 6 months in the 6th semester onwards under the roles of junior developer and SDE. The project is to be submitted about the work you have done in that internship in the 8th semester.
Placement Experience
Various companies such as media. net, sapiens, tiger analytics, Amazon, jio, ltmindtree, tcs, and Wipro came in the previous year for the on-campus placement drive. The highest package was 39 lakhs CTC and the average of all the branches is around 11 lakhs per annum. Around 80% of students get placed in companies and the rest go for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The caution fee for 4 years of stay is around 20000rs which has to be submitted at the time of joining. The fee hike is minimal per semester and the total fee is about 10 lakhs for 4 years excluding food expenses. Scholarships are availed by students through various governmental schemes and are duly signed by the dean of academics to get the approval.
Campus Life
Sports tournaments are held every 4 months and an annual fest in every year. In annual fest colleges around the country participate in the fest. There are numerous clubs such as cultural club, tech club, and robotics club.
Admission
The admission process was smoothly conducted through josaa. There are reservations under various categories, that is, st sc obc and general. Another fee concession procedure is there for students whose family income is under 5 lakhs per annum.
