VIT Bhopal- A place to Learn and Grow

I have an interest in the computer and coding field that why I choose this course. All the faculties in this college what quite experienced and well-educated. This is the first college that provides 100 percent, doctoral faculties. All the faculties are highly qualified Ph.D. students and their teaching method was quite good. Most of them are very friendly with students and helpful. Every 1.5 months duration period, they took the term exams and it was pretty difficult but for regular and punctual students it will be easily managed.

I am a fresher but from my research from the senior batch, they told me that college will provide internships for experience and you also get an internship from LinkedIn and many other sites. So instead of focusing on an internship, first focus on building some skills and making some good projects, and doing a lot of hard work.

The college placements were quite nice. In the 2020 batch, almost 90 percent of students got placed. After 6 semesters students become eligible for campus placements and for those students, placement training was started. Microsoft, Zomato, media.net, and many other companies that visited and offers packages to students. The highest package of the was may be 60 LPA and the average package was 8-10 LPA as per company and profiles offered. Almost 90 percent of students get placements.

The fee structure here is divided into 5 categories based on VITEEE Ranking. The Tuition Fee for Category 1 is rupees 198000, for Category 2 is 300000, for Category 3 is 400000, for Category 4 is 450000, for Category 5 500000. The tuition fee is fixed at the time of Admission into a certain course and does not hike Year by Year.

There are so many fests organized in this college and every 2-3 months they conduct 1-2 fests. In the college library, there are good availabilities of books but not during exam period because other students have already issued those books. The classrooms are quite good and all the infrastructure was new. They offered so many sports and extracurricular activities on campus and there are so many social groups, clubs, or websites for students that are run by students. so you have plenty of choices to choose whatever you want.

I live in Rental Accommodation Just outside the College in Kothri Kalan. The hostel Provided by the College is not up to the mark according to its basic pricing of 150000 for 4 bedded Non-AC rooms. For Freshers, Living in Hostel may be a good option, but for 2nd year onwards, one should look forward to living in Rental accommodation.

The Application process for entrance to the VIT Bhopal campus is the same as entering all other VIT campuses. The Applicant has to apply for VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination) conducted by VIT University. The Exam tests the applicant's core concepts regarding Intermediate level Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and Logical Reasoning. Once the Applicant Qualifies for the Exam, he is allowed to sit in VITEEE Counselling, where he/she can choose the courses in preference order. Once allotted a course, they must pay the whole fee in due time to confirm their seat. Remember that the system once allotted cannot be changed under any circumstances. The Charge for the VITEEE examination is Rupees 1500 and for sitting in Counselling is Rupees 5900 +GST. Both these charges are NON-Refundable. There are no reservation Benefits that can be availed in the Examination. Overall the Admission Process is Good.
