Review of my college

The college is very good regarding the education, technical competitions and the co-curricular activities conducted.

I had pursued diploma course in Production Engineering from Fr. Agnel Technical College and i got admitted to Fr. CRCE college through cap admissions based on my percentage in the same stream in which i have completed my diploma course.

The student gets overall knowledge of the machines, instruments and manufacturing units required for the industries nowadays from the course. There are 5 Technical teams (Abadha, Avisrota, CFR, Robocon and Vaayushastra) in the college which are making 5 different technical projects and participating in the competitions at national and international level.

Yes the college provides internship for 6 months in the companies like L&T, Godrej, Mahindra and Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, JPMorgan, Oracle, TIBCO, Jacobs, Wipro, IBM, Weatherford, Genesys, etc. I have not yet appeared for internship as I am in second year now. The stipend paid is 10-15 thousand per month.

I am a second year student so I have not yet appeared for placement. Almost all the students gets placed from the college. The companies like L&T, Godrej, Mahindra and Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, JPMorgan, Oracle, TIBCO, Jacobs, Wipro, IBM, Weatherford, Genesys, etc. visit the campus for placement. The average package provided is 6-8lacs.

The technical events such as Inter College Technical Debates, TEDx Talks and various other technical events are conducted well mannered in the college premises and cultural event such as euphoria is conducted for all the streams in the college in which the whole college is decorated based on various themes of the event and prize is given to one complete stream.

The fees for open category is 1.45 lacs, then for some caste students it is 70,000 and for rest is 20,000 their is scholarship scheme for the students coming in caste as well as open category. I am in open category so there was little problem while paying the fees as it has to be paid in single installment.

Scholarships for open category students are provide through companies like JSW, Bluestar, etc. and the students in caste are provided the government scholarships.

The extra curricular activities such as annual sports are conducted on sports grounds and annual gatherings are conducted in the auditoriums. Both of the programs are not conducted yet and all the students gets equal opportunity to participate in the same.

The hostel is two stations ahead from the college and it is very affordable and one person is given one room to stay with best food quality and the facilities in the room.

Alumni program is not yet conducted as I have been admitted this year in this college.

Exams are strictly conducted and misbehaving is punishable. The Laboratories are having all advanced machines and also CNC machines and the practical teaching is the best.

More than 50% of the faculty members are doctorate including HOD's and Principal and rest of the faculty members are having ME, MTech and MS degrees. Some of the faculties are teaching through presentations some of them teach by solving on board and some faculties teach us practically. All the faculty members interact with the students very wisely and they try to give best of the knowledge to the students through their teaching.
