As I am in the field of commerce, I have chosen BCom for graduation. The reasons behind choosing this college are primarily this one is the "A Grade" college additionally the placement opportunities are high. If I talk about the faculties they are very good. Some of them use traditional methods to teach but others apply modern approaches and techniques to teach. If I talk about the interaction that is 50-50. There are only internal exams which are too tough. Basically, the question patterns and the syllabus is not defined in the case of internal exams. Students way to prepare for the whole syllabus for only 10 marks. Moreover, the questions are not so easy. Further whatever the number of subjects maybe the duration of the internal exam is fixed which is one hour.

From the 5th semester, few internships are offered. But if students are looking for placements then they need to wait till the competition of their 6 semester. Then different companies will come for the campus placements. I am going to the grade college so quite renowned companies are coming there for choosing eligible candidates.

The top benefit of this college is the lowest fee structure as it is a government college with high job opportunities in terms of campusing. The first semester it charges around 695 to 895. First and second-year fees are 695 and for the third year, it is 895. So it is a quite budget-friendly amount which students need to invest in Goenka while completing their bachelor's. Ultimately the college expenses are minimum but purchasing books for the bachelor's for each semester might seem high to the students depending on their financial condition. In the case of Scholarships, there is no separate scholarship available from the college. If you belong to West Bengal then svmc scholarship can be availed. Moreover, Any other kind of Central or private scholarships can easily be availed. But the processing procedure is smooth for approving your scholarship.

Goenka is mainly oriented towards study. So other curriculum activities are not promoted so much. But yes different kinds of sports, debate competitions, and very few cultural programs are arranged for and by the students. Faculty is also helpful for the administration. As our college life started during the pandemic situation we are not able to enjoy social functions.

The basic cut-off for students is ranging from 93% to 100%. Applicants can find the application form fee structure and all the details from the college portal. Basically, the admission process is very smooth. The admission list will be uploaded on the portal. Students only need to check it out. If their name is present in the list they can take the admission by depositing the fees. In Goenka there are mainly two shifts day and morning. So students can take admission according to their preference.
