Course Curriculum Overview
There is a great scope of chemical branch in public sector companies as well as in GATE examination. The amount of faculties are good in number as compared to students. All the faculty members are Ph. D and have got great achievement in their respective fields. Internal exams are done 2 times in a semester and at the end of the sem final exam is done. The exams are done in a gap of around 2 months. The exam papers are moderate and done on the basis of topics thought in classes.
Placement Experience
Campus are available for all the branches. The student become eligible after 6 semester for placements. Adani, TCS, JK papers are some of the companies coming to the college and provide around 5 lpa package. Around 70 to 75 percent student get placed before leaving the college. I am a UPSC aspirant and want to be a civil servant in future.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of course is not much high rather it is normal but the hostel fees should be reduced. Many scholarship opportunities are given to students by government and college. The most poor and financially weak student are given education free of cost. The campus rate is quite good around 70 percent this recent year the campus rate has gone very nice.
Campus Life
The campus is a quiet and safe place to have fun with friends and enjoy the environment the campus is disciplined and beautiful. The main functions are Horizon and annual function, tech fest is named Technovasion these are held during the winter months. A huge library is available for all the students in the college and all variety of books and mmagazines are available. The classrooms are well organized and ventilated, smart board and modern way of teaching is used. There are many sports clubs like football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, kabaddi, badminton, chess etc. The college give regular opportunity to go and play tournaments in other states and colleges. We also have our own sports tournament in which all the college in odisha participates. Except those photography, editing, acting, dance, singing, instrumentation clubs are also available.
Hostel Facilities
4 students in one room well furnised and clean rooms are available to all students. The quality of food is average, non veg and veg both are available according to students the menu are decided by students itself. Hostel registration is done after the admission process is complete and it can be afforded by most. The rented mess for students are available in cheap rates just around the college so that the student live near the college.
Admission
The admission was done on the basis of jee ranks. The cut off for this branch was around 4 lakhs. After the allotment process by OJEE, notice was published for reporting. The required documents and details were provided in the college website. Reservation is available on the basis of ST, SC, TWD under these student are admitted with some deduction in fees. The cut off for the branch should be increased so that the amount of student will increase.
