- My Friends. All friends which i made here are really good and very helpful.

Dislikes
- no wifi for 1st year and 2nd year hostels.
- the classrooms in which the 1st year classes are held are not up to the mark.
- no dg facility in the classrooms. whenever there is any power cut, we have to study in heat.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is good enough and very interesting to study. The faculties in the branch are also well versed in teaching, and very helpful and cooperative. The ratio of faculty to students is fine enough for every student to reach out comfortably to the faculty. Maximum faculties are either MTech or Mtech+PhD holders from reputed colleges of Odisha with very good knowledge in their subject and a very keen interest in teaching.
Placement Experience
Placements start from the 7th sem. Companies like TCS, incture, Adani, Sterlite tech, and other such service-based companies come to recruit students. The highest package is 9 LPA for ETC and 12 LPA for Electrical till now and the average package is 5 LPA. Almost 70 to 80 % of students get placed in the on-campus placements and others go for master's or other such postgraduate exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees per year for BTech are 30,000 per year and 68,000 per year for ETC+CSE branches as they are under a self-finance scheme. State Government scholarship is provided to some students based on their category+cgpa. The campus jobs are of average quality.
Campus Life
Many fests are held in college during the start of the year like anweshan(annual fest), fun fair, horizon(techno fest) + the branch fest, and freshers and farewell party of every branch. All the books which are used and recommended by the teachers are easily available in the library. Classrooms just have normal desks and benches with blackboards and smart boards. There is a very big field on the college campus, where students play in the morning and evening before and after their classes.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are provided with a bed, chair, table, and shelf. Washing machines are also available for help. The meal quality and the menu are fine and not bad. The hostel is provided based on the cgpa of students(in 2nd,3rd, and 4th year) and jee/ojee marks in the 1st year. All boys may not get hostel in the first year but all girls get hostel in the first year. That's why some bays may have to stay outside the campus in the first year.
Admission
For admission into IGIT, Sarang, one needs to give JEE/OJEE exam and secure more than the cutoff marks for the respective branch in which he/she wants to study, and then apply for the OJEE counseling. The application date will be notified by the college on their official website i.e. www.igitsarang.ac.in and the application fees will also be informed by them. The application form will be available at the college on the date of admission.
