Course Curriculum Overview

The computer science domain is the best domain at this time and I want to master ML that's why I join this course. And yeah this college is good and anyone can join this college, The faculties here are good and helpful. The course curriculum is good.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 46000 per year

Placement Experience

They are eligible for the 6th semester, companies are TCS, CAPGEMINI, COZIVA, AIRTEL, JSB, IBM, FRIDELBANK, HDFCBANK, etc. The highest package is 15LPA, and 70 to 80 percent of students got placements they are got 1+company company, my plan is to continue my study and complete my Mtech.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees structure of this college is BTech 410000 and hostel 50000 per year and all scholarship is applicable, Like SVMCM or central scholarships. At that time I am a 2nd-year student and I saw at that time that students got campus placements.

Campus Life

When a student joins college, they organize a NabinBaran Program and then Start an induction Program For 1 Week, there many VIP persons are present there and they say something motivational speech. And after that Organize a tech-fest and per week a webinar is created by our HOD. Classrooms are goods. Many groups are present like GDSC, IOT, and many more.

Admission

Eligibility for this course is must perform a good score in WBJEE/JEE minimum of 45000 then you will get admission to our college. The application fees and application date you will get on our college website: bcrec.ac.in.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
