Course Curriculum Overview
I was always passionate about Computer Science so this course is a dream come true. The student ratio is a little much but the faculty is helpful. You can communicate easily with all the faculty members. Most of the classes are highly interactive. It's important to be diligent about practicals and projects. This year the academic session was shortened to adjust to next year due to the unavoidable COVID-19 situation but the syllabus was adjusted as well so it wasn't a big problem. It would be helpful if students have all their basics clear so they understand all concepts with ease.
Internships Opportunities
I have not started to apply for internships yet but there are several reputed companies that hire from our college. You can get the list from the official college website. It will be preferable if students think about their projects from an early stage.
Fees and Financial Aid
Each semester we have to pay 79000/-. There is a total of 8 semesters. There will be a lot of scholarship opportunities provided. You can apply for scholarships through the Techno India University official website and follow the required steps.
Campus Life
The annual fest is called "Sahotsava" and it lasts for 3-4 days including several fun events. Tech fests don't have any particular date but there are several tech fests around the year. I mostly attend the GDSC fests. They are usually conducted during the end of a session like around March. You can get books and journals in the library at the start of each semester and also ask for reference books.
Admission
B.Tech in Computer science can be taken by individuals who have graduated 12th standard. It's beneficial to get this degree given our generation and the overall market. You can get the application form by contacting the numbers provided on the official Techno India University website or directly going to the Admission office preferably right after your 12th results are declared. If you feel unsure about this college itself it's better to get a reservation beforehand to get the maximum benefits available.
