The placements of this college is good. In 6 semester the students are eligible for the campus placement.in this college many of the companies have come to visit for the place some of them are congnizant.

The fee structure for this college is about 45000 per semester which is affordable. A normal middle class can afford that. Otherwise there is a facility that you can study by taking educational loan from bank or from the government.

The campus of this college is very piece full and big. You can play each and every game so that you can inhence your physical skills. The books would be available in library and you can take for you study after completing you semester and then you have to return them back. So that you need not to spend extra money on books.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels of this college provides you a very good facility to live. Two students would live in one room otherwise if you need to study alone then there is a single room facilities too. The meals are very healthy.

Admission

It was very easy. I got the admission in this college on the basis of wbjee exam so, it was quite easy for me. You have to appear for the wbjee exam or iitjee exam. There is reservations benefits for this you have to contact with the administration block.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves.
