Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted for Cse. Cse in today's world is giving more chances to freshers. The faculty members are very good and helpful in nature. Their behavior towards the students is very polite and friendly. All the teachers are Ph.D. holders.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for this course is 4 lakhs approx. You can apply for a scholarship and all other stuff. You can also apply for a student loan. The government is also providing this student loan for the betterment of the student I myself have got this loan.

Campus Life

Every year there's an annual fest held in our college. The fest is very much interactive. And every other month there are very extra co-curricular activities held. The books are available in the library. All the books available which you need during our sessions.

Admission

I have opted for btech. You need to appear for competitive exams. You need to score a good ranking for this college. This college is very good according to me, I got good marks and then I got admission to computer science and engineering. The admission process is smooth.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

THERE ARE FAR BETTER OPTIONS

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves.
