SLIET: A Modern Gurukul

As I did complete my diploma, So choose CSE. 3:25 is the faculty: student ratio. The faculty is well qualified, they are from NITs, IITs, and Some from abroad. SLIET term exams are well structured and conducted in well planned and it is very easy but you have to focus in the classroom and be active in the sessions.

ISGEC for Mechanical, Vardhman, Mahindra & Mahindra are some of the internships companies available. Anamoly Detection, and Handwritten Digit recognition are some of the projects, I completed in my degree time.

From 7th sem for the degree and 6th for the diploma and 4th sem for the Mtech Students. Placements are about average and this year 2023 the placement ratio is growing faster and about 70 percent of the students from each branch got at least an average package. 20LPA is the highest in the history of SLIET offered by Microsoft. I have already been placed in HCL and Cognizant-like MNCs. So focus on the only job now.

The scholarship is there, even though I got TFW as I got ranked 8 in SET 3. cost of study is very nominal and I don't think there is any fee hike policy in SLIET. Bihar Student Scholarships, TFW(Tuition Fees Weaver), and some central government schemes.

Madhuram cultural fest in the month of October. The tech fest is the month of March. Yes, the library is very large and huge no. of books there known as the central library. SLIET is growing in SPORTs culture, you can get a huge stadium and sports complex there. SVIESA, Endeavour, Juggernauts, and Mavericks are some of the clubs and social groups.

There are around 9 boys' hostels for degree and diploma students and 1 for the Ph.D. students There are around 3 girls' hostels for the diploma and degree students. You can register the hostel on the ERP portal of the Sliet website. The room is very good and the availability of everything is there.

So the process starts with filling Application form i.e available on the official site www.sliet.ac.in of the different courses for example SLIET Entrance is divided into different sets SET I, SET II, and SET III for the entrance in BE(Lateral Entry/ Direct Entry). I choose SET III which covers the ECE, EE, Instrumentation Engineering, and CSE, and after the exam and cutoff are released you choose your desired course. The application fee for the General and other categories is 1750. For girls candidate is 1250 For ST/SC is 1000. Yes, as SLIET is one of the CFTI Reservations is there for the girl's candidates, OBC, SC/ST, and EWS. The process is so smooth and fast as compared to other Universities, but there is always a chance for improvement.)
