I choose this course because I had intrest in cse from class 7. The faculty is good and large enough to handle students. The teaching methods are good and progressive The exam are in every one month there are 4 exam in a sem which is called CA.

Internships Opportunities

Currently a student of IT who is in 3rd year 6th semester got an internship of 23 lakhs in the company named Nutrinix. Internships can be gained at any semester any year there is no mentioned year for that

Placement Experience

6th semester is the semester for cse students in which they are available for campus placement. Our main branch is in Kolkata tehno India so we have to go there for placements. The highest package here recieved by a student is 42lpa and highest internship is 23 lakh. The placement rate of the college is 95%

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college is genuine that is 4.3 lakh when I took admission in 2022 but now it's 4.5. I belong to minority community so I got SVMCM scholarship and students credit card. And all other scholarships are available here

Campus Life

Many tech events are conducted here by different clubs made by student of college. There is a huge library of collection of 80 thousand books. Tech Club, science club, art club, photography club and many more.

Admission

I took admission through decentralised counseling. I first applied on Wbjee counseling and got Electrical Engineering in Haldia which I didn't wanted I wanted CSE and I got here in Asansol Engineering College through decentralised counseling

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

For jee I prepare very hard during my 11th and 12th but unfortunately I got not as much percentile so that help me out to take me addmission in IIT like colleges but my coching sir addvice me to do counsilling and take addmission in college that i got .
