I choose B.Com hours. I had approx 106 classmates. The teacher is very good. They teach you in a very kind manner. They help you with your college assignments. We have a semester now. So every 6 months the semesters are held.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is pocket friendly, far better than private colleges. Per year fees are approx 5000. And have to pay the semester fees. But the semester fees are very minimal approx 300-500 depending your course. There has a scholarship facility. You have to talk with the office room about this.

The College is one of the best colleges for commerce background students. The teachers are very friendly and they help you with your study. And there are many other activities held in the college c likricket matches, Saraswati puja, Picnics, Fest, Social, Holi, and Social work. Overall the college is very nice.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
