The way how our teachers teaches us is one of the best thing here.
The on campus placement which our college provides.
The workshops which are conducted on weekends are great .

The college campus is little small as it is in main town.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite new if I compare it with the current scenario and as compared to other colleges it is almost an Industry level based curriculum. The way of teaching teachers are quite good and teacher pay equal attention to all the students. There are two term exams between a semester exam and it is moderate to Hard.

Internships Opportunities

Interships and placement sessions start at the University of Engineering and Management Kolkata in 3rd year and students are provided with enough opportunities and a few students also grab 2-3 placements.

Placement Experience

Campus placement at the University of Engineering and Management Kolkata is great. Several companies visit our campus for providing placements. Our college provides enough opportunities to all the students. A few companies are Tcs, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Flipkart, Byjues, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees structure of the University of Engineering and Management Kolkata is quite normal and our college provides scholarships to the students who scored good marks at their school level and in terms of placement I will say that our college provides enough opportunities and on-campus placements are great.

Campus Life

College life at the University of Engineering and Management Kolkata is great. Our college conducts many fests throughout the year. A few names of the fest are Estacia, Utopia, etc., and many events and workshops are conducted on a monthly basis. Books are provided by the college library.

Admission

An exam is conducted named IEMJEE where you have to get a good rank to get admission in CSE at the University of engineering and Management Kolkata. I gave Iemjee conducted by uem Kolkata and there I secured a good rank to get CSE core.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
