Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to pursue MBA after my graduation. So bcom honors were the best course. The faculty is well-maintained with respect to students. Plenty of teachers are available. The professors are all highly educated. And the teaching method is very good. Term exams are after each 6 months interval. Very easy if anyone studies sincerely.
Placement Experience
After the 5th-semester students are applicable for placements. Companies like TCS, Tata, Wipro, and other new companies offer placements. 10 lakhs per annum is the highest and the average package is 5 lakhs per annum. 20 percent of students get placements. I will pursue MBA after graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of my college are very low only 6 thousand for the entire course. Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is available if marks are above 60 percent. Until now no jobs, it's after graduation. Yes, placements are available. So studying sincerely and having good grades will help a lot.
Campus Life
Yes, the annual fest during the month of November is organized by our college union. The college has a vast library with plenty of books if you go first and avail them. Stocks remain for a limited time. Good classroom with green board and projector. Sports like carrom and table tennis are played. Curricular activities like singing and dancing happen on occasion. The college has its official portal on social media for students.
Admission
My admission was merit-based. As I scored good grades in class 12th. The cut-offs were very much for the general category but still, my name was on the 1st merit list. Any student who passed his or her 12th can apply. Yes, reservations are available for SC, ST, and OBC candidates. The application form is available in the college portal of Calcutta University. The admission process was very good.
