Likes

Campus life is enjoyable even if classes are packed.
Tech fest includes various fun games and students love to participate.
Teachers are quite knowledgeable and they interact with the students.

Dislikes

Classes are too packed and no time to complete assignments
Even if tech fests are fun... Same can't be said for annual fest.
Too many rules and regulations are too be followed

Course Curriculum Overview

CSE is a major course. Expertise in computing provides you with a basic understanding and knowledge related to computers. The Faculty also helps the students a great deal by exposing the students to various internship programs. The exams are tough and according to the syllabus.

Internships Opportunities

I'm currently going to be in the 5th sem. So internship opportunities are not much. College mostly provides internships to the 7th sem students. Companies also prefer to choose from the 7th sem students and select the talented students.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placement in the 7th sem. Placement training is provided. The average package ranges between 4-6 lacs while the highest can be 15 -17 lacs. Various companies take part in placements and offer jobs to talented students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The compulsory charges in the first sem would be Rs. 59300. It includes the tuition fee BPUT registration fee, Activity fee, pre-placement training fee, blazer and uniform, and college caution money. The 2nd sem charges are Rs.49000.

Campus Life

Fest and tech fests are conducted annually. The tech fest involves a lot of various fun activities that students can participate in. There are various clubs like singing and dancing, and book clubs. But club activities are not very active.

Admission

The eligibility is 10+2. Many courses are available. For the computer science branches CSE, CST, CSIT, and CSAIML are available. Other courses are also available like MECH, CIVIL, and BIOTECH. , Electronics. You can apply for various scholarships during the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

Trident is a private college and in 2021 it was the only college we could afford. In other hand i had another college silicon institute of technology in my mind but the admission fees was on a higher side.
