Remarks

I got to know about this college from an online advertisement. I contacted the college through the helpline numbers given in the advertisement. I enquired about all my doubts and they asked me to come to the college with all my documents. I did not take any admission test as such. I was asked about my class 12th marks and the admission process was completed.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose electronics and communication engineering upon suggestion from one of my cousins. I further enquired about the scope that is available in this stream. I verified the packages acquired by the senior students of the same stream. When I was fully satisfied, I chose the stream.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

The college has a hundred per cent placement record. Every student gets an offer letter from at least one company if not more. The average package is six lakhs per annum and the minimum package of four lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is a total of six lacs. Students can also get many scholarships such as Swami Vivekananda merit, cum scholarship, alumni scholarship and many more. The main criteria for the scholarships are the economic background of the student.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in the college search as music, club, dance, club theatrix club drama, club, debate, club, sports club, and many more. Students are regularly involved in extracurricular activities which helps in personal development.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
