Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is up to the mark and the faculty members are enthusiastic about making us understand the topic, The students teacher ratio is 1:64, I chose this cse course because of the rising demand for software Engineers in our country

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is fluctuated over the years and the average package is 3.5 lpa. Various companies visit the college but not so many placements are there before the covid there were good placements but after COVID there is degradation of placement. Hoping for the upgradation of the placement system in future

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the course are pretty much decent as compared to other private colleges in the country. The hostel accommodation fees can be lowered a little bit. I don't know about scholarships but I don't think there are job opportunities for students with stipends

Campus Life

The classrooms can be further digitalized as they are not up to the mark. The rules for students are very strict as they are not allowed to use smartphones inside classes it's good by the way and many other extracurricular activities are also conducted on the campus

Hostel Facilities

Girls are not allowed for rented accommodation they can only stay at hostels and the rules for girls are very strict, there are a lot more restrictions on girls as compared to boys and the girls are only allowed to go outside on Sundays that too only 2 hrs (10 am-12 pm). The hostel is not up to the mark and needs wifi, inverter, there is no AC in the hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

No entrance exam was given. The admission process was through my senior's recommendation towards this college. My admission was done in Rourkela office through their staff members and the amount was sent through them only

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
