Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty are good they always support you they always solve your doubts. Course curricula are also good. Faculty members also take every problem seriously they always try to solve any of the problems. The exams are really good and always happen on time.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are available in 3rd year if you consult management. Other you don't get. Because there is many are come for taking fresher with degree. There is no confirmed internship.

Placement Experience

Placement is average if you think that you do nothing and you get a 6 lakh or 10 lakh package then it's impossible. You gate literally a 3 or 4 lakh package if you do hard work on yourself. Otherwise, there is a risk for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of btech is 384000. There are good schemes for Bihar and West Bengal students. For Bihar students, there is a Bihari student credit card ( DRCC). And for West Bengal, there is a scholarship from Swami Vivekananda.

Campus Life

The college campus is literally good. The huge campus is in 20acer. There are many games that you can play on campus. Here are many clubs that you can explore. And it's really good for everyone. There is also a swimming pool and gym that you can access at any time.

Admission

Approved by AICTE & affiliated to MAKAUT minimum aggregate of 45% marks and 45% marks in physics, chemistry & mathematics. You can appear in jee mains and wbjee entrance exams. If your rank in wbjee is 10000-40000 you are eligible for cse.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Hey..I am Md Zafar and currently I am an undergrad Student in BBIT college Btech CSE(2nd year)2022-26 batch. So first talk about the admission procedure : there are two ways to get into this college for btech admission is by JEE and WBJEE entrance exam. Ok taking account of these exam ranks you can take admission into this college and the average rank for CSE branch by WBJEE is under 20-25k.
