Campus Life, it's fun. It's because of the fests and events.
Friends-its the main reason for loving this college so much.
It's has AC in every classroom, which makes it comfortable for us.

Dislikes

It's fees structure. I think it's course fees is much more than neighbouring colleges.

I have chosen this course because of its opportunities in the technological field and to secure a stable future. Teaching is average, they provide sample papers before exams, which is a good thing. There are two exams per semester, mid-term and end-term.

Internships Opportunities

Internships in our college are available from the 5th semester. I am in my second year, so naturally, I don't have much idea about it. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Accenture and so on visit.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Various companies like Microsoft, TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant visit. Most of the students get placed My plan after getting the degree is to get a job at a reputed company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our course fee is around 79 thousand per semester. I have not applied for any scholarship, I have opted for a bank loan instead to fulfil my course fees. But we have a scholarship policy for the same.

Campus Life

The annual fest of our college is "sahotsava", usually conducted around May-June. Books for the semester are provided by the library. There is a lot of hype for its extracurricular activities, including sports.

Admission

Jee mains/wbjee and 75% or more in class 12th boards. Application forms of jee and wbjee can be available on their respective websites. There is not any reservation policy I guess. The only improvement I want is to reduce course fees.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
