college has amazing infrastructure college has exciting events and fest college has a research unit called DTLABZ which allows the students to get ample opportunities for the students as it helps them to do projects and encourages them.college provides exciting opportunities ,if you have a plan or an idea or any project which you want to create or explore this is the college you are `looking for people

i have written many competitive exams but got a seat in sahyadri through KCET (karnataka common entrance test) in the branch information science .as this college has an amazing infrastructure and good name in academics i was glad i got this college .there was no interview process of any kind just had to verify the documents during the day of the admission.i actually wanted a seat in computer science and engineering but life takes different routes and ended taking information science as it is the same as that of computer science .

college does not provide any internship of any sort ,students have to get a job through placements or take up higher studies and find jobs there, hence i have no experience about it or give you the stipend amount

placement offers in sahyadri is really good as we have an excellent placement officer ,she works to her hardest to get the best results for the students ,many students got placed about 75% of the students got placed in many good named examination some of the companies which come over to sahyadri are infosys ,tech mahindra, indian navy,JSW ,hewlett packard and many more.

college has about 4-5 of cultural activities and fest like college day and all they are very grand in terms of celebrations ,the college most of the funds and support the students in organizing these events .they provide a lot of support for students to execute their talents and abilities to showcase them

fees in sahyadri is not so cheap as well as not so expensive also when compared to many other colleges i had paid 56000 INR as government fees as i have got seat through KCET .and 29500 INR as college fees, that is all we have to pay for the nest coming years till the completion of the course .we even have to pay the vtu fees and examination fees which varies every year .

they provide suffiecient help for students in the scholarship s ,i have availed some of the scholarship through online, college helps students to avail loan from banks by providing them payslip or pay receipt

college provides a lot of support for extra curricular to showcase their talents and abilities ,college supports the students the competitions outside the college and other fests for the students to explore their inner talents and know and experience and get a idea of the outside world

i do not reside in a hostel or PG as i am a day scholar and i am a mangalorean ,i do not even have a lot of friends residing in the hostel in my section and have no idea about it.

there has not been any alumni interaction ,the college has not done any or provided any proper stage for the alumni interaction ,college has or should be doing such activities and hope it happens soon as the students would get to know about the college and the future about what they have to do , the alumni has provided funds for the development of the college when the students leave the college .

examinations here are moderate they want their results in academics to be very good so they conduct special classes for the low scoring students ,but the college provides very good support for the students in their academics .college also provides students to postpone their examinations (only internals),in case the students has to attend competitions or project submissions.

faculty in sahyadri are very experienced and qualified in their respective fields ,there are many senior lecturers who have very good knowledge and have lot of years of experience .faculty are very supportive and interactive ,they help in studies and especially support us in projects and encourages students to do so .
