Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is of good level which also includes some tech subjects like DSA, DBMS and also programming languages. This course also covers most of the fundamentals of Electric Engineering. The student ratio is not too good as there are around 90 Students in my branch section, so it's not easy for the teacher to solve the doubts of every student. All faculties are well qualified and top-level experts in their field of study and are for famous institutions of the country like IITs and NITs. Term exams start on time around November odd sem and around July there are even semesters. Exams are relatively medium-level and not too much difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportunities at the college are good for the core branches like cse, electrical and ece but for branches like biotech, mech, and ice there is a bit tougher competition faced by the students. Big companies like Samsung and Deloitte visits the campus for internship and provides a really good stipend of 1 lakh for around 2-3 months. Companies provide a great opportunity for the students to explore the corporate world and enjoy that working experience. Companies provide some tasks for the students to do during their internship if they perform well in those tasks some companies also give pre-placement offers to the students

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements of the college are top level and students secure very high-paying jobs every year and get placed in their dream companies and sectors at various posts. Many companies over 200 visit the college campus every year and provide thousands of job offers to the students. Many big companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, Accenture, Flipkart, etc also visit the college campus every year. In the Year 2022 average package offered was Rs.18 lakhs per annum and the highest was Rs.1.06 crores per annum. The placement ratio of the college is very good in braches like cse and other top branches of the college and in lower branches like biotech relatively fewer students are placed. My target after my degree is to get a job in company like google as a software engineer.

Fees and Financial Aid

A fee of the college is somewhat high and difficult to pay for a middle-class and lower-middle-class student. For the first year, it is INR. 2,29,000 and it increases in subsequent years by around 10-15 thousand. The total fee for the 4-year b-tech course is INR. 9,89,000. But you don't have to worry much as there is financial assistance provided by the college for the weaker economic sections of society. There is also a scholarship provided by the delhi govt. on e-district portal namely "merit cum means scholarship for higher education" under which you may get a 100% fee waiver on your tuition fee and university fee.

Campus Life

4.5

College life is really amazing and students live unforgettable moments at the college campus and create lots of memories with college and friends. The college campus is really big in size and students may have fun time and chill in the college grounds and campus. The infrastructure of the college is also amazing and interesting to explore various chill spots to hang out with your friends. There is a huge central library having lots of books of your interest and also of your course curriculum. You may issue books and read them at home too. There are also many journals and novels to read for chill. Sports facilities at the campus are also good and you may play any sports of your interest like cricket, football and many more. There are also many clubs and societies you may join to explore. Junoon is a famous society for photography and Ashwamedha for drama, and many more societies of your interest.

Admission

The admission process was not too difficult, if you are a sincere student and consistent in your studies you can easily clear the entrance exam which is "JEE Mains" and then you have to participate in JAC Delhi councelling. You must have PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) in your 11th and 12th(or equivalent) classes for appearing in the JEE exam. You can register for the exam on the official website of NTA(National Testing Agency) in the months of December(1st attempt) and March (2nd attempt). The only improvement I want to see in the admission process is that they should remove 75% of marks criteria in Josaa councelling(Which is NOT for NSUT, DTU, IIITD).

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
