- The college clubs are really impressive and their diversity gives the student a better chance to discover himself with the help of the clubs
Dislikes
- No efforts are taken for the entertainment of the students, it’s very hard to a permission for something besides educational activity
- There is no fest culture. You have to explore other colleges for fest because you won’t experience that in MSI
Course Curriculum Overview
Maharaja Surajmal Institute is ranked as the number 1 college affiliated with GGSIPU because of various reasons. •Experienced Teaching Staff •Perfect Mentoring Sessions •Supportive Behaviour of Management I opted for B.Com (Hons) and the teachers allotted to my batch were extremely skilled and were holding PhDs while some were perusing their PhDs. Batches were distributed in a way that very few teachers were teaching both the shifts i.e Morning and Evening, this gives the teachers a better chance to bond with the students of their allotted batch and it helps them to mold the students in the best possible way so that they score a good score.
Placement Experience
The companies that show up are generally offering jobs for Sales During the placement of 2022-23 there were only handful of companies that were actually reputed or had a decent pay else most of the companies had their CTC to roughly around 1-2.5 Lakh PA
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure generally goes around 1 lakh per annum to 1.2 lakh per annum. There were certain additional fee add ups but were completely optional like deposit for participation in the placement drives.
Campus Life
Your college life depends on the friends you make in college. Taking about the fests, they are more likely to look like annual days of our schools. More of rules and regulations and less of fun. Their fests including calling Haryanvi celebrities and and taking their interview as the show stopper for their fest. Keeping aside the fest thing. The college has various clubs that a student can join and it gives them an experience of working in a team and working in hierarchy. There are various clubs like NSS, IEEE, Vitt- Finance Club, Sifar-Theater Club, Ethos- Fashion Club and more. Earlier there were very limited classes with AC but they have recently constructed 2 buildings one for Law and one for MBA which is centralised.
Admission
The Eligibility to get into MSI is very simple, firstly score more than 60% in your 12th and get a score of <1000 in CET. The CET forms are released via online portals of GGSIPU website. CET is an acronym for Common Entrance Test It is generally divided into 4 sections including English, Logical Reasoning, Maths, GK, Data Interpretation and more depending upon the course opted.
