Infrastructure was the best in the whole state.
Disciplined life for all the cadets is mandatory
Placement is alright if you keep up the work.

Dislikes

Faculty is aright but some can be annoying sometimes..
Course syllabus is kinda too much sometimes.
Campus life can be hectic and stressful for normal people.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course to become a mariner. Faculty memebers can vary based on there nature but all are helpul to teach you if you request and ask kindly. Most of the faculty have written 4-5 books here so they must be qualified enough to teach. Term exams are every semister and are difficult but are not impossible to pass. Passing is easy but getting good marks is tough.

Class Size: 37Course Fees: INR 2400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure includes mess fees, hostel fees, medical fees, etc. Fee sructure is made such that if you make proper use of it then you may complete a 24L course in 21-22L. There are many scholarships available here and for girl cadets, there are more for them. Most of the cadets get placed till 4th year. Many companies visit this college.

Campus Life

All kinds of events keep happening here so it is quite hard having a hold of the numbers of them. Many clubs are available here too. Infrastructure is the best in the whole state. All kinds of books are available in the LRC. All kinds of sports events keep happening here. The other day was the TT finals event. Classrooms are provided with projectors as well.

Admission

You should have 55-60% in PCM and 50% in English in 10th or 12th. The forms are from open in January - February on TMI's website. Here it is First come first served so dont delay your admission process. Admission process is alright but is slight time consuming which can be improved.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

College review for better selection for better opportunities in future

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities. I applied to IMU Kolkata,Mumbai Port campus and Chennai alongwith it I also applied to AMET. I got selected in every college except AMET and I feel that Tolani Maritime Institute provides us with better facilities in every aspects compared to the other colleges I applied for. TMI the best college

I just applied for this college and I guess its much more better than other colleges due to high placement rate better campus environment and reviews from other ex students. Admission process is little bit complicated tho we have to give IMU cet, TMI SAT and TMI interview after clearing all three we have to clear medical then only we get Admissions and its must to have more then 60 percent in 10th and 12th....Read More
