Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course for enjoy the Marine Life and you can earn more money. The faculties are well experienced and there were about 20 permanent faculties and 20plus guest faculties 1faculty per 30 students. All faculties are finished PhD and almost experienced for minimum 6 years. There will be 2 internal exams and last practical and semester exam per semester.
Internships Opportunities
There will a intership programme in 6th and 8 th semesters it will help for you to train for the Marine Life.It will be conducted by the recognised companies and it will be cordinate work from the students.
Placement Experience
The girl cadets will get placement in 2nd year and for male cadets the placement starts at 3rd year and IMU HAS 80%placement ratio in past years.The students want to be in a good rank position for good placement.I am going to enjoy my sea life after getting placement in good company.
Fees and Financial Aid
For b.tech the fees per year is 225000, which includes the hostel fees. IMU gives the helping hand to all students by approving the requests of students to avail various benefits under scholarships given by Centre & States. Campus Life
There will be a inter festival for sports event in odd semester.There will be many lectures will be conducted throughout the year frequently for the importance and improvement of the students and they can know more about the Marine field.There are four clubs are there like photography club, lectures club, nature club and orientation club.
Hostel Facilities
The course is Residential.They will provide hostel and bed cort . The rooms are very nice to have,2 person per room.The are three hostels and 2 mess was there.No registration process for hostel it will be allocated while you joined the course.
Admission
The student who are willing to join in Marine field they can join Indian maritime University (IMU) for the bright future.The students want to clear 12th with above 60%marks and want to write a entrance exam (IMU CET), you can find the registration details in IMU website.
