- SRM College of occupational therapy having good facilities and infrastructure available for our course/department &high class classrooms
- The overall population in just CSE department there are over 4000 students. The campus is always crowded.
- SRM provides enough resources and a broader perspective for exposure.
Dislikes
- Opt for SRM if you are unsure about other colleges or have no other good choices. It is costly.
- There is a mix of good and bad in this college is no exception. Its not at all academically stimulating.
- If you want to learn a lot about life and not just do Engineering choose other top colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Course Curriculum Overview
Because, we are in a time of rapid social and technological changes, the need for engineers to think creatively is greater now than ever before. The ratio between students and teachers was good.Few teachers were Ph.D Scholars and the ratio is1:14. The teachers are helpful and well qualified.They are experts in their respective fields. Most people will be recruited by mass recruiters and will get a low paying job for the first few years.But if you know what you are doing and have an idea of your future plans,then you might get a better package.The college provides good placement.The average Salary package offered in the CS branch is 7 LPA and the salary package offered in the core branch is5 LPA to 6 LPA.Top recruitig companies like Cognizant,TCS,Wipro,etc. will visit our campus. Passing end Semester exam in SRM University is very easy even for the average student.Basically in the semester exam,they repeat the previous year questions.If go through previous year question you can pass it
Fees and Financial Aid
For programme with an annual fee of Rs.1,00,000 and above, the one time non-refundable and non-transferrable registration fee for the first year is 10,000. For programme with an annual feel less than Rs.1,00,000, the one time non-refundable, and non-transferrable registration fee for the first year is Rs.5,000. The per semester fee for examination will be based on the number of subjects registered for examination.
Campus Life
Shuru-The Icebreaker. Jhalak - Interhouse culture competition. Milan - The Cultural Fest. The offline events were held in 400 classrooms across the vast expanse of SRM IST's campus. The other events in the forenoon included Sports and Games, Badminton,Basketball,Cricket and Football were held in the indoor and outdoor sports complexes. Curtains came down on the second day of Milan the most awaited event of the day. The pulsating beats alternating between various genres had the audience on their feet.
Admission
Students falling under the top 100 in JEE Main or JEE Advanced are eligible. SRM university application form will be available on online on the website, srmist.edu.in. There is no reservation quota available in SRM University. The numbervof seats allotted in management quota is too high.All the money you get from selling those seats won't help you buy quality.

For first year students, its compulsory to live in SRM hostel or you can live as a PG in nearby apartments. Wasting and throwing food given to you in hostel is punishable.
