Entrance Preview

Having been a Tamil Nadu State Board,higher secondary student i did not give any entrance examinations. I just went through the State Govt Counselling and got seated in the college. I scored 95.86% overall.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is similar to that of the IIT curriculum and gladly involves a lot of visual and practical learning.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college provide internship in companies like Structural Engineer Research Centre,Chennai and Australia's Dekin University and more.

Placement Experience

We had more than 90% placement in my college during my time. Being a Civil Engineer I got into a Core Civil Job with one of the top most companies of India. Into the Brand "TATA". I am working with TATA Power since last two years. But nowadays I hear that people get placed only in Software companies.

College Events

There are a lot of technical and cultural fests held. Kriya is the technical fest where we share great knowledge from different institutions. Also we have department wise technical fests,Tech Music with excellent Orchestra team,Team Dramatix, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are Merit as well as management seats. Merit seats' fee is quite cheap whereas management fee is 4 times more.Hostel fee is around 30,000 per year. And food is good. There are varities and much better than so many hostels of other colleges.

Campus Life

Our campus has a decent diversity with students hustling from different parts of the country. Gender ratio is 30:70 girls to boys. There are diverse extracurricular platforms like fine arts,dance,music,sports like badminton,cricket,tennis,basket ball,sepak takraw etc.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Psg college of technology real experience

I had applied psg,cit,thapar I got confirmed from these three but the main reason I choose psg is course curriculum and the internship it will help you to gain good knowledge and place in good company so comparing other colleges psg is better The admission process of my course there is 4 courses of 5years integrated msc (ds,cs,ss,tcs ) To join in these there are 3rounds 1.12th percentage 2.entrance exam. 3.interview Your 12th score is must be more than 85 The entrance exam is based on 11th and 12th mathmatics And the interview has some technical questions and mathmatics Iam not feared about 1st and 2nd round because my 12th score is very good and Iam well in mathmatics but the 3rd interview round was very good experience for me I had a good chance to prove my skills I had little fear after completing I got 3rd position in the entrance exam Finally it was a great experience for me...Read More
