Course Curriculum Overview

B.A history is something that helps you improve the ancient Times. And very helpful to acknowledge our past. The student ratio is 50:50 .The teachers are first-class and very well-experienced. With the quality teachers, the exams were easy.

Internships Opportunities

Intership programs are not conducted for the Arts and science students which is the major drawback. As it was government fees are low but companies are offered. So the students can study good atmosphere.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of this college are very low compared to other colleges. They charges 1350 for bachelor courses and hostel fees of 50,000 with quality good. They provide scholarships for differently abled students and backward students in society.

Campus Life

Our campus is good with a green atmosphere. The classrooms there are much better than private colleges. The college conducts annual day sports day and others for the students. The library is good enough.

Admission

The college admission is based on 10th and 12th marks. Students with higher percentages can go with merit-based. As they charge only 250 for the admission process. Students with SC/ST community are given first preference.

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures. We also have inter-disciplinary courses.
