The course curriculum is really great and amazing. The course focuses on interactive learning and practical implementation of studies. faculty members are highly qualified and have vast experience in research in their fields.

iit mandi is one of the fastest growing iits and has great relations with industries. companies visit to hire interns. intern period may be from 6 to 9 weeks during the summer period and the stipend may range from 10000 to 1 lakh.

Placement Experience

Placements of iit mandi are great and more than 400 companies including top companies like amazon, google, Microsoft etc. visit iit mandi campus for recruitment. The highest package of iit mandi is 1.2 cr while the average package is 22 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of iit mandi is divided into semesters. the tuition fee for each semester is one lakh rupees. There are many scholarships for economically weaker section students and fee remission for SC students.

Campus Life

Campus life at IIt Mandi is really amazing. iit mandi is located in the heart of the Himalayas. The campus view with clouds is amazing. library of iit mandi is equipped with all types of facilities. sports facilities at iit mandi are great.

Hostel Facilities

hostel facility is really great and each member is alloted two member sharing rooms with bed,study table, almirah for each. mess facility is also great and it serves four times a day. There is arrangement for non-veg food separately twice a week.

Hostel Fee: INR 2000 per year

Admission

The admission process is through Jee Advanced. one has to clear both Jee Mains and Jee Advanced to be eligible for IIT. The jee entrance exam is conducted by national testing agencies all over India. after clearing Jee one sits for Jossa counselling.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

IIT Mandi- my home and karmbhoomi

Honestly I initially thought of branch change and college in some what cold place which led me to this college. Our college is moderate in comparison to other iits, obviously you cant compare it with old iits , but yeah its decent enough, having good students and friends. Placement of four college is better than other iits. Some years result in placement ogf good no. of students whereas some leads to okish. The sport facilities are ok. Swimming pool is not of olympic size and it requires lot of time for repair of the sport equipments. Admission process is through Jossa counselling after JEE Advanced. I applied for VIT, NIT BHOPAL, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Jammu, IIT BHU, IIT Ropar, NIT Durgapur, and many of the IITS and NITS. I choose only this so, didn't fill for confirmation for others. IIT MANDI KE ANSUNE KISSE

The admission process at IITs are generally common through a cmon entrance exam all over India named jee mains for nits and then after qualifying in that we need to score good in jee advanced. There are reservations for sc, st, obc and economically backward classes. Like you can get good branches with lower marks. For example in computer science you can get 6000 rank for obc but around 2000 for general candidates....Read More
