Course Curriculum Overview
I chose to pursue a B.Tech course as it aligns with my interests. The course curriculum is impressive and the faculty members are knowledgeable and efficient in teaching the course material. The student-to-faculty ratio is also favorable, with each class having an assigned mentor whom you can approach with any problems or concerns. The mentors are quick to address any issues and welcome feedback for improvement. Most of the faculty members hold PhDs in their respective fields. The semester consists of two types of exams- minor and major. Minor exams are held two months after the semester begins, followed by major exams 1.5 months later. If you study the topics covered in class, you should be able to score well.
Placement Experience
Students from the 5th and 6th semesters are eligible for internships and placements. Many companies visit the college to hire students, such as Maruti Suzuki, Denso, Byju's, Bluestar, HDFC, Gen X, Intel, and more. The highest package offered is around 18 lakhs per annum, and the average package is around 5 lakhs per annum. The college has an excellent placement record, with 100% of MBA students, 95% of B.Tech students, and 94% of law and management students being placed. After completing my B.Tech degree, I am confident that I will be able to secure a position in a reputed company with a good package, with the help of my university.
Fees and Financial Aid
The B.Tech course fees for a four-year program amount to approximately 11-12 lakhs. However, there are two scholarship policies available. You can receive a scholarship of 26000 - 80000 rupees if you score above 85% in 12th board exams and have above 8.5 CGPA in semester exams. Alternatively, if you achieve above 9.5 CGPA in both semesters of any year, you will be included in the Dean's list and awarded a scholarship.
Campus Life
Life on campus is great. One of the highlights of the academic year is Momentum, an annual festival held in October and November. This event attracts prominent singers and Bollywood actors. The university library contains a wide range of books, both online and offline, and is easily accessible to all students. The sports facilities are top-notch. The sports center has indoor facilities for all types of sports, while the outdoor grounds include two basketball courts, a football field, a cricket field, two volleyball courts, a badminton court, and a lawn tennis court. There are also numerous clubs and societies on campus, such as the tech club, environment club, dance club, mechanics club, music club, and nukad natak club.
Admission
The admission process at this college is excellent, as it is based on either the JEE Mains result or the 12th board result. All you need is a score above 70% in board exams, and you can easily find the application form on the NCU website. In my opinion, the admission process is flawless, and no improvements are necessary.
