Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in studying sociology at Fatima College. My teachers are well-trained to teach. Fatima College is very strict. They teach discipline. faculty are speaking fluent English. The teaching method is very super.

At the end of the semester, they give opportunities for campus interviews and placements. To provide guidance to students in career planning, resume preparation, interviews, body language, and improving their communication skills.

Rose Mystica library has unique features of the main four departmental libraries viz physics, chemistry, zoology, and home science. There libraries promote research and projects. They used remote access to e-sources.

Only merit basis. It is based on your 12th mark. No entrance examination. A fifty percentage mark is needed. Placement offers are good which is really useful for the students. The college offers part-time jobs for students. There are no specific internships designed as a part of the curriculum.

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures. We also have inter-disciplinary courses.
