From my prospect I would like to suggest that the one thing left for the college to do is to improve our infra structure as soon as possible.
Entrance Preview
WBJEE exam had given me an opportunity to study in CE branch in one of the best govt. colleges JGEC. The stream I have chosen is totally on my wish as I had a great dream of making buildings, bridges.
Course Curriculum Overview
CE is one of the developed branches in this college from my view. Because there is a lot of scopes for me for survey facility in various sites, practical learning etc. Drafter, T-Scale, Set- squares are to be said the weapons of us in the way of being civil contracter.
Internships Opportunities
The internship process is quite impressive. Simplex, MSME, L&T are the best station for doing internships for us. Some of the internship companies provide avg stipend amount of 5000/-
Placement Experience
The one and only mass recruiter company for core branches mainly for CE is Shapoorji Pallonji which recruits every year approx. 40% of Civil students. The avg package is 4.5 LPA but this year they provides an outstanding package of 5.2 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
We, the CIVILians have to pay 5,501/- per semester which is comparatively less than the remaining branches. Hostel fees are 96,000/- total for 4 years.
Faculty
Being in CE department I feel myself to be so much proud because our department holds a lot of faculty members in our college who are well qualified and their teaching standard is perfect.
