Honest Review of PSG College

I opted for this course of my own interest , I am interested in the circuit department , the ratio of faculty and students is 1:60 , the qualification of faculty is ME+Phd+work experience, and all teachers are well encouraging they assist us. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable . the teaching methods are quite good , quality is worth the money paid. every subject is well planned and framed . it is an autonomous college . the college makes students ready for the industry semester exams are moderate . the pass percentage is above 80 % the difficulty level of semester examiniation is moderate and the based on application.

This college also provides internships in the 3rd year, both internships are provided paid internships are also provided here and there is also compulsory project work for each and every student at the time of the internship.

From the 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements, depending upon the student curriculum, companies such as Bosch, Mahindra, and Mahindra, work, Qualcomm, TCS, IBM , I and T, Daimler, Cisco, Volvo, and so on In college better placements for EEE students must have a CPGA of at least 8.4. It's the only way to get placed in good top companies. The average salary package offered is 14 LPA. The highest package offered during PSG College of Technology placements in 2022 was INR 35 LPA. There is a separate session for placement training. They provide internships to students within the college as well as for companies. The stipend varies based on what kind of internship they are receiving and from which company they are receiving it. Nearly 70 percent of students are placed in campus placements.

The cost of the study is very low compared to other colleges, such that the fee structure per year is 25000 and they provide many scholarships from the government and private scholarships also first graduate scholarship is also availed here.

Events and cultures are available here but due to COVID the events were not conducted for 2 years, PSG has a very large library named GRD Memorial Library which has more than 10,000 books and pending books also available here, such as sports and extracurricular activities available here such as cricket basketball tennis badminton and so on. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are perfect and well-conditioned. All sports facilities are available on a large playground. Sometimes you need to get permission for Wi-Fi for books. The placement office functions as a separate air-conditioned block with state of the art facilities for conducting pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions, and interviews.

The admission process is done through online TNEA counseling , application form for tnea counseling starts between march and april, the application fees is rs_5000 which is the deposit amount and it is decreased in college fees , eligibility of this course is 12th pass in 10,+2 or equivalent course.
