Course Curriculum Overview

B.Tech in Computer science is one of the trading courses. We all are habituated to new technologies & every technology are updated from computer science domain. The teacher & Student relationship is very very good & cool actually. All the teachers are helpful & guide you properly. Maximum faculty members are Doctorate & Phd qualified. In one sem we have a two-term exam & it is quite difficult.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 580000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College suggests different types of internships in different zones which are training at that moment like AI, Machine Learning, Cyber security etc. We did 6 projects against our 4years course. Two faculty members are there for our help as a mentor.

Placement Experience

Placement is very good, TCS, CTS, CAPGEMINI, and WIPRO hire huge no of students except KPMG, INFOSYS and many more well-known companies. The highest package is 72lcpa. More than 95 per cent of students are placed in several companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Around 6lacs for four years, and 70,000 per sem plus 1000 is the examination charge. IEM-UEM GROUP provide the scholarship for your academic excellence. If you get 85% above in the 10 & 10+2 exam then you can secure the scholarship. There are several facilities if you come from a poor financial condition.

Campus Life

There are many clubs like Theatrix -official Drama club, Symphony - music club, RYTHMIC SYNDROME - dance club, Voices - litterateur club & many other clubs present like photography club, quiz club etc. The annual fest is Ecstasia which is very popular & Eutopia, and Agomoni Adda are also very interesting programmes which is held by UEMK.

Admission

You need a minimum of 60% marks in secondary & higher secondary both exams. And you need one rank in IEMJEE or WBJEE or JEEMain. IEMJEE is an entrance exam that is held by the University of Engineering and Management in Kolkata and Jaipur.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Excellence with good culture of academic and infrastructure

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
