a very famous engineering college in mangalore

college has an amazing infrastructure with beautiful gardens and maintained environments. college has very good support for extracurricular activities college has good faculty and staff college is in the city region with trasportation not being a issue

yes i have written an entrance examination called KCET and ended up taking electronics and communication engineering ,there was no interview of any sort ,just a casual meet for the verification of the documents .i had a lot of interest in electronics that is why i have chosen electronics in my PUC and wanted to excel and make up a mark in this field that is why i made up my mind to choose this course.

course is really good even though i have not entered the batch ,my seniors say the teachers and the teaching over here is really good ,the college encourages students to undergo in project activities ,which also indulges in taking up research initiatives .the practical learning provided here are really good and the appliances do not carry any defects .other elective options here are mechanical ,computer science ,information science ,civil engineering.

college does not provide any internship opportunities.students who wish to do so should directly encounter with companies outside.

placements in sahyadri is really good we have an excellent placement officer who works very hard in giving the students what they deserve.the major companies here are hewlett packard,JSW,indian navy and so on .the average package is about 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs approximately.

there are many fest and events conducted in our college like frshers day college day and so many other exhibitions ,our college also provides for a workshop for interested students who wish to excel in extra curricular work and activities called the DTLABZ.

as i have got a seat through KCET the fees is pretty affordable for me as the government fees was about 56000 INR and 29500 was the college fees and i had to pay the vtu fees and examination fees which has to be paid during nearance of the examination .according to my knowledge the management fees over here is about 175000 INR .

college does not provide any scholarship according to my knowledge .scholarship programs are provided by the government which can be seen online .the college helps in getting some loan for the banks by providing the necessary official documents.

the college provides humongous opportunities for the students in extra curricular activities be it their talents and abilities ,but this college is famous for its encouragement in projects and exhibition of it

iam not a hostelite and do not have any idea about it.

there has not been any sort of alumni interaction of any sort.

as we are under the VTU system most of the college have the same pattern in terms of examination it depends on the student to take it up as he wishes.

faculty is really experienced over here ,teachers are really good and friendly .we have have a mixture of faculty here both fresh staff and experienced lecturers they are really good who encourages us in our performances both in academics and activities .our college supports a lot in the exhibition of projects in which the faculty members play a major role.
