Better college

The college has good facilities which are required like advanced labs with all software and internet facilities. There are spacious classrooms, capable of accommodating 100 students but the class only consists of 60. The college conducts inter-college and intra-college sports competitions every year which attract many students. The labs and classrooms are well-equipped with required kits for all the courses which are much needed for better understanding. The food is good in the canteen and there are a variety of dishes available in our canteen. The hostel rooms are clean and tidy and spacious too. I didn't face too many infrastructure related issues during my under graduation. The issues were resolved quickly.

I wrote engineering and medical common entrance exam. I secured good marks and eligible rank to get a seat in this college. There was no interview but there is a online counseling for me. In this way I have landed in this college. I love computer engineering. My aim is to become a software engineer.so I took CSE.

The course I took was fantastic.Teaching is good. Faculty is focusing very much on practical learning. Labs and are conducted very regularly in presence of experienced faculty. Research initiatives are taken care of management seriously.

Yes our college provides internship. Management takes responsibility of telling about internships to all branched students.I also attended it. It was really good and this experience was helpful in future aspects.

Vagdevi college has improved its standards in the placements area. We can know it by looking at the placements we all have got in the last year and now. There are 65% placements in our college this year which is an overwhelming number making us an A-grade college. The package varies from 2.5 lakhs to 27 lakhs per year i.e. 27 lakhs for the highest one and 2.5 lakhs for the lowest one. But, the average salary given is 3.5 lakhs. Many reputed companies have visited our college like Flipkart, Amazon, Voonik, Hp, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, CA technologies etc. once we join the companies, different roles are given to the students like system analyst, software tester, software developer, system administrator etc. On the other hand, internships are for limited students and it largely varies on the companies who are offering them. Up to now the companies which offered internships are Flipkart, Voonik, GGK Technologies, and CA technologies. The percentage is 30%. The average stipend paid is Rs. 20000 per month and the highest one is Rs. 25000 per month and the lowest one is Rs. 12000 by GGK technologies.

Yes the fee was affordable for maximum people. Our college fee is 45000.Bus fee is 13000.And jntu fee is 5000.Apart from these I'll get scholarship from government.

The faculty is an important factor which needs to be addressed in every college. Luckily, CVR college has an experienced faculty who have done their Ph.D. and masters. They are very friendly. They give suggestions to the students in times of difficulty. They are knowledgeable and we can know that by their way of teaching and giving real world examples. Through their teaching methods, we are able to understand the concepts in a clear way. The faculty to student ratio is pretty good i.e. 1:30. The college plans to take students to industries every year, which is very helpful for the students. The course curriculum is strong and it is reduced every year by eliminating the less important stuff.
