Course Curriculum Overview

I had an interest in mechanical engineering so I selected the course and IIT Dhanbad provides 2nd best Mechanical engineering course in India. All the faculty are phd in there respective subjects and have very deep knowledge in their field of research.

Class Size: 117Course Fees: INR 260000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities offered are really excellent with companies coming for all kinds of roles from Technical to core to product to Software to app development to web development etc. The internship provided is with a good stipend of about 25000-2 lakhs.

Placement Experience

The placements of the college are really wonderful with avg package of 17.3 lakhs. All the top companies such as Google, Microsoft, Jaguar Land Rover, etc. visit the campus with the highest package of 50 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 2.60 lakh per year for general people and you can apply for many scholarship opportunities that are provided by the college. The college provides with a good placement and internship with avg package of 17.3 lakhs per annum.

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome with a variety of Technical and cultural clubs. Our institute has one of the best infrastructure as it is a 97-year-old college. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and whiteboards.

Admission

Jee Advanced was the exam I took and the rank required for Mechanical Engineering here is a minimum of above AIR 8000 and below 9000. The application process is through Jossa Counselling and it takes about 1 month to complete.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
