Likes

The sports facility is good , almost every sport and coaches are available.
The Library is huge and fully air conditioned.
The new boys hostel is amazing. And very large and beautiful.

Dislikes

the class rooms. Are not air conditioned.
Only the main gate of campus is open and the rest are closed.
There are not a variety of cafeteria in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because this was my second priority after computer science and engineering. And I didn't get cse but got this one. There are two exams in each sem. If you study it will be easy for you otherwise hard.

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunities. On-campus internship starts from the 3rd year however you can get one earlier on your own if you have skills by applying by yourself. Mostly the tech company offers SDE profile intership.

Placement Experience

The placement of our college is decent. The average package is around 20 lakhs. Companies like Google Accenture de show Microsoft Samsung ongc comes here. I think the highest package is around 50 lakhs. And almost the placement percentage is 80 to 85 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

1 lakh per semester is the tuition fee plus approx 18000 for mess and 30000 for hostel per semester. You will get many scholarships in the tuition fee if your family income is low or you are from SC, ST.

Campus Life

The annual biggest fest is srijan and the annual biggest technology fest is Concerto. They both are amazing. The Library is huge you will get every book. Here, almost every sport is available. If you are already good just go in it from the start. And there are also a huge variety of tech and cultural clubs.

Hostel Facilities

The room is a 2 sharing. The old hostel is small but recently a new 2000-capacity boys' hotel was built and this was amazing the rooms are enough big that you can even live in 3 or 4 sharing. and the mess quality is decent.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Everyone knows you have to clear iit jee mains and advanced to get into an IIT. The application form is released on the official site of Jee Mains and Advanced. Yes, you will get reservation benefits in college as well as in this entrance exam.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
