Course Curriculum Overview

Mining is the oldest branch here and it is named based on this branch. It is the most prestigious branch here. The faculties are really good and teach well and there is some pressure of studying which also should be according to IITs. Our exams are generally after a 1 and a half months gap.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 186000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I still have not applied for any internships yet as for offline internship within campus comes at the end of the second year. So I can't give any information regarding internships available within our campus.

Placement Experience

After 3rd year students are eligible for placements. Actually, most of the students have skills and good CGPAs and get placements easily. The placement rounds of the companies have some special opportunities for girls.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 186000. There are different types of scholarships available, you have to check out and apply accordingly. Some really famous companies come to our campus for placement. For mining generally, we have to try with outside placement also.

Campus Life

Two main fests are conducted srijan and Concetto, which occur twice a year. There are so many cultural clubs, sports clubs, and so many other clubs or societies. The Gymkhana is the student body which controls all the student activities.

Hostel Facilities

In hostel there is a badminton court and table tennis board also. The hostel if have any problems we can give complaints and they also take care of our issues. The meals also are good and we get non veg for 5 days in a week.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

Pass JEE mains, clear JEE Advanced and get all India rank, apply through josaa and get your dream branch in IIT. The Reservation benefits are also available in this whole process and you can check out for it.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. And the highest package of our campus is about 60LPA offered by Amazon. 4.I planned to work after completing my B.Tech.

Life in my college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is average over all. 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies are Tata motors, Tata steel, Nathcorp etc. The highest package is 6.5L and average is 3.5L as per profiles offered. 60-70 % students getting placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

IIT(ISM)DHANBAD SINCE 1926

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

The real pride of dumka

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
