Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course-Actually I have a dream that is I will be a software Engineer for this dream I need a course to execute this plan and I got this course in this college through WBJEE. There were not so many satisfying faculties to read, not so bad, and the student ratio was so high as per the stream. Qualification is so high because some teachers are belong to Jadavpur University, and the teaching review is below average. The timeline of the exam process was too short and the students didn't have time to complete their syllabus.

Placement Experience

In the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are some companies were visited here that are Wipro, Infosys, CouldCaptan and many more. my plan is to get into it corporate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the course is medium like 52000 per Year and a normal hike policy and cost study I got the SVMCM scholarship from the government, now I haven't gotten any Job from the university campus, till I read in my second year of college, I didn't get no any stipend

Campus Life

There is no annual fest and tech fest and month at this University. There is a Good availability of books and journals in the library. Fiod Aminity and Classroom. There is no sporting material and extracurricular activities are so bad on the University campus. There are two Unions on the University campus, that are run by Students.

Admission

My name is Arindam Acharya, Eligibility of the course -Took admission through WBJEE, ranked 8k, I found the application form through the counselling process, the application fees were 2500, the application date was 23rd September 2022, There are no reservation benifits in this college, Yes, I want some improvement in this college on the basis of education purposes.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
