Course Curriculum Overview

I love electronic devices like phones and radio and other devices like robot and drone. I love to work with electronics company in future and isro. The exam is not much difficult you can easyly crack it.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 2000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement of this college is very good. Every student get more than two jobs from on campus placement program. If a student don't get job they get internship program from our college. Companies like tata come to our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of this college is very low. Every sem we have to pay only 700 rupees because it is a government college. There are many scholarship for every one and a special scholarship for girls. Good college.

Campus Life

Every year we organise two cultural program in our college. There is social club called impulse in our college. You can join it if you are interested in this. There is a sports ground in our college for football.

Admission

College is very good. They provide very good placement. Companies like wipro tata comes to our college. There is reservation for sc st and obc in our college. Faculty is very good in our college. Teachers are also good.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Placement Experience:

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Overall a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in the final year of the diploma course. Most companies like Wipro TCS visit our college. The average package is 5 lahks and 90 percent of students got placed in every branch.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

From 5th semester students are eligible for campusing. Badve autotech pvt ltd. A1 fence products pvt. Ltd. Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.

My first preference was jcgp, as it was the college my relatives' sob is passed from. I heard the good things as it was the best diploma college for civil Engineering in west bengal. After my admission I didn't think so but it occurred to me after a while. The admission process was pretty simple. We had to appear for joint entrance exam and based on the marks we had to choose the college. But in dire situation of Covid, we got the chance to apply for the college just by showing our higher secondary result. As far as I know any student getting over 55% in higher secondary examination got accepted in diploma in civil engineering. Best College In The World

The admission in diploma colleges are done through a state based elegibilty test called JEXPO which is conducted by the government of West Bengal.Only after that a student can get admission in Diploma Colleges. After JEXPO I got the opportunity to get admission Jnan Chandra Ghosh Polytechnic College & Acharya Prafulla Chandra Roy Polytechnic College. My reason to choose J.C.Ghosh College was that it is revered as the topmost polytechnic college in the state and as the college was closer to my home making it easier for me to travel to the college. The cut-off for J.C.Ghosh Polytechnic College is very high thus only a handfull of students having a high academic score is only accepted.The cut-off is 6000 for all candidates....Read More
